The Denver Regional Council of Governments will open a joint call for letters in the fall for two Transportation Improvement Program technical assistance set-asides: the Community-Based Transportation Planning Set-Aside and the Innovative Mobility Set-Aside.

An informational webinar about the call for letters of interest will be held from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. Thursday, October 1. Eligible applicants are encouraged to participate and consult with DRCOG staff as they develop project ideas. The joint call for letters of interest will open from October 1 through November 15.

The funding opportunities support planning, feasibility, analysis and preparedness projects to improve mobility and help communities prepare for emerging transportation needs. No local match is required for either program.

The Community-Based Transportation Planning Set-Aside supports local planning efforts that improve transportation access and mobility. Approximately $2.5 million is available through the 2024-2027 Transportation Improvement Program for the four-year set-aside.

The Innovative Mobility Set-Aside provides up to $1 million annually for projects focused on topics such as transportation electrification, shared mobility, mobility hubs, curbside management, mobility data, connected and automated vehicles, and other emerging transportation solutions.
